Autumn 2021 Virtual Course Offering:
The Losses We Grow Into
THIS CLASS IS FULL AND THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE HAS PASSED
Thursdays, September 30 - November 18, 2021
3:00 - 4:15 pm (eastern time)
once a week for eight weeks
$120
Course Description
What has happened to our normal rhythms of life? So much of what we took for granted early in 2020 has been spun on its head. Zoom classes, grocery and food deliveries, virtual dates, establishing “bubbles”, mask wearing… so much is different. The realities of the pandemic, and the losses, all kinds of losses, that have been experienced, have many of us reeling, feeling depressed, isolated, and fearful. It’s hard under these circumstances to feel resilient - with a “I can do this” - spirit.
Learn how to find the inner strength to get out of a slump.
Resilience is a crucial life ingredient. It determines how high we can rise above what wears us down; from battling an illness, experiencing the death of a loved one, or carrying on during a pandemic.
This virtual class, offered on Zoom, will focus on two components of resilience: one mental and one behavioral. Because resilience is a skill, anyone can learn and improve, in order to thrive.
Over eight weeks, we will tap into what it takes to make us stronger during challenging times. This will be done with kindness, humor, truth telling and courage.
