Gratitude is a Superpower

Course Description
This class will offer a time to explore how being grateful helps us flip negatives into positives, obtain insight, learn lessons, give love, and perform acts of kindness.
Just like a muscle, gratitude must be trained. The more we practice it, the stronger it becomes. Using gratitude strengthens our brains to seek out the good, raising our levels of well-being.
To help practice gratitude as well as positive thinking, we will use the book Finding Gratitude by Rebekah Lipp and Nicole Perry. Using the prompts from the book as inspiration, we will commit to writing in a gratitude journal for at least five minutes daily.
When we gather together in class, we can share our gratitudes and what we are learning about ourselves as we train our minds to look for the good.
Videos and articles may be sent in between classes to enhance class discussions.
This class will be uplifting and inspiring.
Required reading: Finding Gratitude: Simple Ideas That Can Change Your Life, by Rebekah Lipp and Nicole Perry.
