Following her performance, Juanita interacts with the audience, answering questions and commenting on the complexities of families, growing up female, the complicated mother/daughter relationship, and how she developed the stories she tells.

This storytelling performance has been offered in such diverse settings as a Mother's Day celebration for adult daughters and their mothers sponsored by a wellness center; a social workers conference; a 60^th. birthday party; and a four generation family reunion.
